Aim higher in Galtür, Ischgl, Kappl and See

Bouldering and climbing in the Paznaun region

One of the best ways to truly get “in touch” with the Paznaun is to feel the primary rock of the Tyrolean mountains beneath your fingers – for instance during bouldering at Silvapark. The region surrounding Galtür, Ischgl, Kappl and See is popular with outdoor enthusiasts who love via ferratas and bouldering.

And that’s no surprise: The varied landscape and breathtaking views of the surrounding three-thousand-metre summits make climbing and bouldering in the Paznaun an exquisite pleasure.

One of the region’s highlights is the extensive boulder area at Silvapark in Galtür. Tyrol’s largest natural rock boulder arena was made accessible by bouldering pioneer Bernd Zangerl. It features 445 different routes and is perfect for beginners as well as experienced climbers.

Bouldering, via ferratas or multi-pitch climbs: The Paznaun region is a paradise for climbers and boulderers – and the start of many adventures up in lofty heights.

The best thing is to consult a local mountain guide right away and explore the most beautiful climbing and bouldering tours in Paznaun together!
