In addition to German and English lessons, we also offer CREW Learning Nuggets. These are short workshops that can easily be done during a break or after work.

The CREW Learning Nuggets allow you to expand your professional and personal horizons. You can choose from little learning nuggets on various current topics.

For instance, during the 2024/2025 winter season, you can choose from the following courses: Communication and Rhetoric, Becoming a Patisserie Chocolate Expert, First Aid Course, Fascinating Facts about Wine, Cheese and Gin for Aspiring Baristas.

The CREW Learning Nuggets are all created by “local heroes“. If you have expert knowledge in a certain field, why not share your expertise with the CREW?

German for beginners in everyday and working life (a1.1/a1.2)

In this German course, non-German-speaking employees have the opportunity to learn the most important vocabulary of the German language in a fun and creative way. Topics are covered that are relevant in the world of work, but also in everyday life. At the end of the course, employees will be able to name objects, describe simple actions, give information and understand instructions and some expressions in dialect.

Course details:

•   Dates: Every Tuesday, 15.07.2025 - 16.09.2025 (10 times)
•   Time: 3:00 pm - 4:50 pm
• Location: H.E.L.P. Center, Ischgl
•   Cost: € 275.00 per Person

• Oral and written language exercises
• Basic terms used in the world of work
• Typical phrases and instructions in the world of work

German for slightly advanced learners in everyday and working life (a2.1/a2.2)

In this advanced course, you have the opportunity to consolidate your existing vocabulary in German in a fun and creative way. The topics covered relate to the world of work or everyday topics that can be helpful when communicating with friends and colleagues. By the end of the course, you will be able to hold conversations in German, give information and understand instructions.

In this advanced course you have the opportunity to deepen and expand your existing knowledge of German. The topics covered will help you to cope better with working life and everyday life in Paznaun. The focus is on everyday situations and topics of conversation that can be useful when communicating with friends, colleagues and in various professional contexts. The learning methods are interactive and practice-orientated, which means you not only learn to understand the German language, but also to actively use it.

the fine art of chocolate

In this comprehensive course, Hansjörg Haag from Tiroler Edle offers in-depth theoretical insights into the world of chocolate. You’ll learn about the different components and the production process of chocolate, as well as the key factors in working with it to achieve top-quality results. Afterwards, Michelin-starred chef Martin Sieberer will demonstrate how to create refined chocolate desserts and impressive chocolate decorations yourself. This course is designed for employees with prior experience in patisserie who wish to deepen and refine their expertise in the specialised field of chocolate.

first aid – 8-hour refresher course

This 8-hour learning nugget gives you the opportunity to brush up on your first aid skills. Specially trained Red Cross trainers will be on hand to share their expertise and carry out practical exercises to deepen and consolidate your first aid skills. This will prepare you for situations in which rapid assistance is crucial. Whether in your free time, in traffic or at work - this course enables you to show civil courage and understand how important life-saving measures are in our society.

•   Recognising dangers and first aid situations
•   Making an emergency call and activating the rescue chain
•   Cardiopulmonary resuscitation & using a semi-automatic defibrillator
• Measures for sudden illnesses, injuries, poisoning & accident prevention

herb walk

Join this guided walk and discover the rich diversity of plants in the Paznaun region. Learn how to safely identify edible wild herbs, explore their flavours and effects, and find out how to use them in cooking or herbal teas. As you walk through fragrant meadows, forest edges and hidden paths, you’ll gain a new perspective on nature – surprising, educational and inspiring.

Suitable for everyone curious about the natural world – no prior knowledge required.

forest bathing

Experience the forest with all your senses: During this gentle and mindful walk, you immerse yourself in the calming atmosphere of the woods. Sounds and scents are consciously perceived – barefoot on soft forest floor, with open eyes and steady breath. Forest bathing helps you feel grounded, recharge your energy and clear your mind – the perfect way to step into the second half of the summer season with renewed momentum.
