Silvretta Ferwall March

The marathon route covers the traditional 42.5 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 2,006 meters. It starts from Galtür and heads to Wirl, crossing the Zeinisjoch and passing the Verbella Alpe before reaching the Heilbronner Hütte. Then, it continues over the Grieskogeljoch, which sits at an altitude of 2,698 meters, towards the Friedrichshafner Hütte and further on to Tschafein. The return journey follows the hiking trail to the Larein Alpe and from there, directly along the high-altitude path to the finish line.

The Ferwall route spans 30.4 kilometers with an elevation difference of 1,589 meters. It commences in Galtür and initially leads to Wirl, then across the Zeinisjoch, passing the Verbella Alpe until reaching the Heilbronner Hütte. The route then continues over the Grieskogeljoch pass to the Friedrichshafener Hut and, after a descent over the Sonnenkogel, along the valley path to the destination.

The Silvretta route covers 19.7 kilometers with an elevation difference of 767 meters. Starting from the village square in Galtür, it leads to Wirl, then over the Zeinisjoch to the Breitspitze along the dam. Upon reaching the summit cross, return to the Alpkogelbahn and head directly to the finish.

The Family route is 14.7 kilometers long with an elevation difference of 150 meters, and the cable car can also be used. It leads from Galtür to Wirl, with a ride on the Alpkogelbahn and further over the Kops reservoir wall to the Zeinisjoch before returning to Galtür. This route is particularly suitable for children and can also be traversed with a stroller.
