You work in a team with 16 employees in the hotel restaurant (1 restaurant manager, 1 sommelier, 7 chef de rang and 7 commis de rang) where hotel guests are catered for breakfast and dinner. Together with a commis de rang, you look after a ward with around 30 hotel guests and are responsible for the process on your ward.
The following work has to be done at breakfast; serving the hot drinks, wine recommendations for the evening and preparing the station for the evening service. In the evening service, you are responsible for the drinks service and help your assigned clerk with the food service.
